Shepherd’s Mix is a natural herb and flaxseed blend, packed with fibre, protein and micronutrients to enhance your dog’s diet. This mix can naturally support maintenance of healthy skin and coat. It can also help keep your dogs digestion working to peak efficiency, thanks to its abundance of natural prebiotics which feed a dog’s healthy gut microbiome.
Composition: Flaxseed (60%), sea kelp (20%), milk thistle (10%), nettle (10%)
Flaxseed – Flaxseed has earned a reputation for it’s contribution to improving joint health, thanks to it being rich in Omega-3. It can be great for assisting with mobility as well as naturally supporting kidney health and metabolism. It is also a wonderful source of dietary fibre which naturally supports intestinal health.
Sea kelp – this highly nutritious sea vegetable, rich in vitamins and minerals, supports your dog’s skin health and digestive system. The rich mix of iodine and minerals in kelp makes it an ideal supplement to help keep your dog’s entire glandular system in healthy working order.
Milk thistle – good for liver support due to its strong antioxidant properties.
Nettle leaf – this rich source of phytonutrients (such as chlorophyll, sterols, polyphenols, lignans and gallic acid) has long been used for its positive benefits to the body. Nettle can support skin and coat condition, as well as circulation and kidney health.
